Hey guys! This is the very first episode of our podcast. We are new and learning on the go. I hope you enjoy. On this episode, we are discussing and analyzing on Nobuhiko Obayashi’s bizarre 1977 film House. As the criterion website stated, “How to describe this indescribable movie? As psychedelic ghost tale? A stream-of-consciousness bedtime story? An episode of Scooby-Doo?” Well, we can pretty much apply all that to this movie. Seven girls travel to the countryside to visit Gorgeous’s auntie. Nobody expected this movie from a Partridge family theme to a bizarre comedy-horror with evil spirits! The whole film is mix with effects such as mattes, animation, and college that turns into a beautiful movie.
