We have another episode on Bruno Mattei's 1989 film, Shocking Dark. A collaboration with Claudio Fragasso as the primary writer of the script. It is a straight knockoff of both Aliens and the Terminator. There is nothing positive about this film; everything is awful! Severin Films beautifully do the remaster. As Nate would say about the director and the cast, "You can tell it’s a Bruno Mattei movie is because the actors that they hired for these [movies] had the facial expressions that they do and the vocal tones that they do… they don’t match. And it's not dubbed, and you can excuse it if dubbed, but it's not." Enjoy the show!
